カプコンは 1989 年にこのアーケード タイトルを開発し、プレイヤーはグランドマスター暗殺の任務を負ったハイテク忍者、飛龍を操作します。 8 方向ジョイスティックと 2 つのアクション ボタンを使用して、プレイヤーはサイファー プラズマ ソードを振り回してアクロバティックな特技や側転攻撃を実行します。ゲームプレイは、飛龍がグランドマスターの首都に侵入する際のプラットフォームと戦闘機のスクロールを組み合わせたものです。

ストライダー（アーケード）の目標
ストライダーは、新ソ連の舞台、恐竜、メカを通ってグランドマスター メイオに向かってスライドするサイファー ブレードを持つ飛龍としてあなたをキャストします。 Strider でのあなたの目標は、上昇/取り付けシステム、ドタバタ側転、パワーアップ オプションを賢く利用して、光沢のあるロボットを貪欲に死なせることなく、継続的に前に進むことです。敵の配置を読みながらステージをクリア！ボスはサイファーのリーチを測るリズムテストです。
Strider を使用して最初の数分
ストライダーを開始して、最初の屋上で走る、ジャンプする、攻撃範囲を練習しましょう。忍耐強くいれば、飛龍の刃は大きな弧を描きます。三角ジャンプ/壁にしがみつくスキルを早い段階で使用して、後で塔が来ても驚かないようにしましょう。安全なときにパワーアップグレードを選択してください。ゲーム中盤のメカをパワー不足でプレイすると、ストライダーの難易度が急上昇します。すべてのピットを急いではいけません。カプコンが意図的なパスのために配置した接続ポイントを探してください。
サイファー、クライム、アップグレード
ストライダーのシステムは流動性を重視しており、移動中に攻撃したり、表面にしがみついたり、キャビネットが許可した場合にはロボット動物のコンパニオン オプションを使用したりできます。アップグレードすると破壊力が高まります。命を失うと効果が低下する可能性があるため、安定したプレイは英雄的な自殺行為よりも優れています。敵は垂直ルートに座っていることがよくあります。登る前に上下を確認してください。ボスの弱点はパターンサイクル後に点灯します。最初に回避し、パニッシュウィンドウ中にのみ斬りつけます。スライダーと側転は攻撃であると同時に移動手段でもあります。安全に決闘できない脅威を乗り越えるためにそれらを使用してください。
