35 年前に発行されたアーケード ビデオ ゲーム: 空手ブレザー (c) 1991 Video System Company, Limited. 1～4人用の横スクロール対戦格闘ゲーム。各プレイアブル キャラクター (マーク、グレン、アキラ、ギルから選択) は、敵が満載の数多くのレベルをキックしたりパンチしたりして進みます。キックやパンチに加えて、各キャラクターには独自の「特別な攻撃」もあります。プレイヤーの健康の一部を犠牲にして、画面上の複数の敵を傷つける動き。 決してオリジナルではありませんが (カプコンの「ファイナル ファイト」からインスピレーションのほとんどを引き出しています)、空手ブレイザーズは非常にプレイしやすく、非常に高速で熱狂的であり、画面上の敵の数は時には圧倒されます。グラフィックもよく描かれており、アニメーションもきれいです。 - 技術 - メインCPU：Motorola 68000（@10Mhz） サウンドCPU：Zilog Z80（@4Mhz） サウンドチップ: Yamaha YM2610 (@ 8 Mhz) プレイ人数: 4人 コントロール: 8 方向ジョイスティック。 ボタン: 4 - トリビア - 日本では1991年8月に発売。 3面のボスは、映画『ブラック・レイン』（リドリー・スコット監督、マイケル・ダグラス、アンディ・ガルシア主演）の登場人物、佐藤をモチーフにしている。佐藤は日本人俳優の松田優作が通訳を務めたが、映画製作直後に亡くなった。ボス（工場）と戦うステージですら、どういうわけか映画の背景からインスピレーションを受けているように見えます（映画のシーンでは、マイケル・ダグラスが通訳したニックが製鉄所で佐藤を倒そうとしますが、これはゲームの舞台と非常によく似ています）。 - スタッフ -
